CatchHire is operated by Cobb & Co, a California-based executive recruiting firm. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean Cobb & Co.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Candidate data:résumés you upload and responses to our Behavioral DNA assessment. These are used exclusively to match you with relevant roles.
- Employer data: job descriptions, company name, and ideal candidate profiles you provide.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve the product.
How we use your data
- To match candidates with roles using our AI-powered scoring and Behavioral DNA system.
- To display your profile and match results to relevant parties.
- To communicate with you about your account and matches.
- To improve and maintain the platform.
Who sees your data
Candidate résumés and Behavioral DNA results are visible to employers who have posted roles you match with. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use Anthropic’s Claude AI to parse résumés, job descriptions, and generate match narratives. Data sent to AI providers is used solely for processing and is not retained by them for training purposes.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies. Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Your rights
- Access and export: you can view and download your data at any time from your dashboard.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.
- Correction:you can update your résumé or retake the Behavioral DNA assessment at any time.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account.
